Yes the majority do. Any dog with a squished nose/face will snore to a varying degree.
Any breed with a squished nose/shortened snout ie Pugs, Bulldogs, Boxers are prone to stenotic nares, elongated soft palate, hypoplastic trachea, everted laryngeal saccules. Some vets may recommend surgeries so please do your homework on whether the surgery is nice to have or required. None of our adults have had any of these surgeries. We do not recommend it unless it is absolutely necessary.
No food scraps - see exceptions below under great supplements.
Given the opportunity Pugs will eat almost anything and a lot of it. We are very passionate about no food scraps. Although you may think of this as a treat this is very unhealthy for pugs. They also should never eat avocados, chocolate, onion, garlic, caffeine, and grapes.
Our food choice is Purina Pro Plan that comes highly recommended from our veterinarian.
Great supplements are cooked eggs, rice. Don’t spend money on fancy treats at Pet stores. Our treats are carrots and berries and our Pugs love them.
Friendly, Loving, Laid Back.
Our philosophy is if you are not certain or fully committed then don’t purchase a puppy until you are ready.
